you know those ideas you just wish you thought of first... and went through with .. this is one of them!

i love buying gifts... i love the hunting and gathering for the perfect piece with all the personality and don't get me started on the wrapping, it's just as important as the gift itself! 

check out this company... suitably called bindle. such great "themed" ideas. i also love the names of their packs. 

i found them whilst searching for ideas for something to give to Mr P as a "welcome to our new home" *replace with much more exciting name here. 

I'm going for a wintry vibe and one that really points out the fact that he is now the proud Man of the House!

{new home = new beginnings}

It's been a pretty busy year... my last post was all about the things we were going to do... well... to say the least... we got busy and of course... none of this got done....

but something else happened, quite unexpected that it would happen so soon. 

we bought a home! 

pretty excited! 

I'm going to use this as a place to document my journey of becoming a new home owner... minus the boring settlement stuff... because handing over your life savings is not fun... but it is rewarding :) 

{2013-the to do list}

Last year was a big year for myself and my family. We are not starting fresh. What was here last year is still going to be a big presence in our 2013 but I want to vow right here, right now that I am going to make the most of my 2013! I am going to have more fun, do all those things I've thought about doing but haven't got around to and tick them off as I go. And with all these things on my "to do list" I hope that it will keep me happy and smiling and make me a stronger person to to get though all that life is going to throw at me this year. I guess my new years resolution is to make the most of life and just do it! Because you only get 1!
2013 is going to be a darn good year.
