desperate for my daily dose of bean caffeine I quickly ducked into mad cap cafe. upstairs in Westfield opposite kids central... anyway as I was reading their little blurb I learnt this place supported people with mental illnesses by giving them work and teaching them skills. I thought it was great how they described the way a mental illness is not physically visible just the same as a sore throat or a headache. really felt humbling to find such a place in Geelong and will definitely continue to give my support. if anyone you know has a mental illness be sure to use your supports and contact beyond blue if you need advice on how you can deal with your illness or so you can help someone you know.
