true story...
"oh look" i thought to myself "there is mums red lipstick, i wonder what i look like in red lippy?"
spur of the moment decision which really should have been discussed, planned and actioned under the guidance of someone highly professional in lipstick application. or at least asked my mother if the lipstick was the free one she received with a magazine or her complete stay on one which was guaranteed to last all night... i of course had chosen the wrong one. color... amazing! staying ability... very very poor!!!! went perfectly with my complection but by the end of the night it had changed my complexion to what resembled a little like a pash rash. my girlfriends later on advised me that i had looked like i had been pashing someone all night and just come out for air.
first couple of hours looked fab... then we arrived at the party and i wiped the edge of my lip... then i wiped it the other way... then i ran to the bathroom... and to my horror i had no lipstick on my lips but i assure you it was still on my face!
what was worse... the next morning, i woke up, had my hangover shower, washed all the stained red off, looked in the mirror only to discover the red smudge IN MY EAR!
the story could go on alot further and i suppose you have to be there to understand the funny side... but after that night i decided a visit to the beauty counter was required. my dear luscious red lipped friend accompanied me to the counters and suggested a couple of brands which were known for being stayers.
where i found my perfect match in YSL! oh ysl... you complete me!
